One of our favorite sitcom stars is set to guest star on one of our favorite dramas. Exciting casting news today out of Grey’s Anatomy, as the show has booked Kaley Cuoco for a role on the May 14 season finale. Kaley Cuoco, who brings the beauty to The Big Bang Theory every week as Penny, admitted to Entertainment Weekly that she has knows nothing about the character she’ll play.



“It is a big ol’ secret. I have no clue what I am doing,” she told columnist Michael Ausiello. “I swear on my life that I have no idea what I am playing because it is the finale and they are keeping it under wraps until the last possible moment.”

The actress is also set to guest star on the next two episodes of Gossip Girl. Look for her as the character of Rebecca Dubrovich in “Seder Anything” and “Loose Ends.”

You’ve been asking me, I’ve been asking myself, and finally, I’ve gone and asked The Big Bang Theory executive producer Bill Prady: What the frak is the deal with Sheldon and Penny?

“We’re as baffled as Sheldon’s friends are by what his deal is,” never mind what his deal with Penny is, he says. “He doesn’t seem to have any interests that are particularly social, whether they are friendship ones or romantic ones.

“I will say this: In our season 2 opener, Sheldon was kind of shocked when Penny casually acknowledged that the two of them were friends,” he continues. “I think just for Sheldon and Penny to have what she will acknowledge as a friendship is remarkable progress for him. She may be the only friend he’s made in a while, so I think everyone’s going to have to call that progress. Hoping for more may be way beyond possibility.”

Note that Prady said “may be,” not “is.”

Also note that when Sheldon gets locked out of his apartment in the April 27 episode, “The Vegas Renormalization” — Leonard, Koothrappali and Wolowitz are, as the title suggests, in Sin City — the brainiac shacks up with the girl next door. But what does it all mean, especially in light of what Prady tells me in today’s AA about a potentially huge advance in Leonard and Penny’s relationship in the season’s last two episodes?

“You never know,” he teases.

For the upcoming April 27th episode of The Big Bang Theory, in which Leonard and Raj take Wolowitz to Las Vegas to get over a breakup, we previously hinted there would be hookers involved.

Now we have the name and actress behind one of the prostitutes. The beautiful Prison Break alum Jodi Lyn O’Keefe will guest star as Mikayl according to TV Guide.



As for Sheldon, well, as we already told you, he’ll be stuck having a sleepover with Penny after locking himself out of his apartment and his potential “weekend of dreams.”

Despite Wolowitz’s night out on the town last night, Howard is apparently still dating Leslie Winkle (Sara Gilbert). How do we know?

Leslie dumps Howard on the April 27th episode, prompting Raj and Leonard to go on Vegas adventure! Simon Helberg (Wolowitz) tells E! Online, “We go to help me get over a breakup. Howard gets dumped, and the guys are like, ‘Let’s go to Vegas!’ Of course Sheldon doesn’t go because he’s Sheldon. He can’t handle that.”

Kunal Nayyar (Raj) spills a little more about the weekend saying, “A lot of hilarity ensues. We go to Vegas…and there might be hookers involved, which you always know is going to be a good time.”



Meanwhile, Sheldon and Penny will both remain at home. In fact, when Sheldon locks himself out of his apartment, there’s even going to be a Penny / Sheldon slumber party!
